Patients often complain about having the roots of their teeth showing because their gums have begun a process known as recession. Correction of this problem once required harvesting a patient’s own tissue – often from the roof of their mouth – and grafting it onto the site of recession. Today, this process has evolved to where we can accomplish the same objective without removing tissue from anywhere. This process requires no cutting, no sutures and no downtime! Furthermore, this process has an extremely minimal amount of post-op discomfort and still achieves an incredible esthetic result.
If having the roots of your teeth showing is source of embarrassment or you just want to achieve a more desirable look, then please ask our staff about this procedure.
